THE STORY
‍U-SHIN GROUP ARTISTS

In 2015, newly out of William Esper Studio, I embarked on a new journey in NYC. As an actor and headshot photographer, I noticed the struggle my fellow actors faced in getting representation. Inspired by this, I founded U-Shin Group Artists. With minimal experience, I relied on determination. Despite initial rejections from my actor friends and classmates, my wife Marie and two close friends signed as my first clients. Marie played a pivotal role in kickstarting the agency, helping me navigate challenges and set things in motion. Together, we built a foundation based on community, transparency, visibility, and celebration. Through perseverance, we now boast 300+ clients, operate across the US and Europe, and continue to thrive.

Atoms (Hulu's "Wu Tang"), Tara Ranni (ABC's "Grownish"), and Lenny Thomas (BET+’s "Ruthless") into the stardom. In addition he has elevated over 163 other careers through impactful mentorship.

Marie Theres Büchelhofer-Kim

Trained in musical theater at Performing Arts in Vienna, Marie further developed her acting skills with Bill Esper and completed the producing program at NYU. She brings a unique, multifaceted approach to talent representation with her diverse background.
